• Modì - Amedeo Clemente Modigliani (1884~1920), a Jewish Italian painter and sculptor, is one of the most renowned artists in the 20th century.

• During his brief yet extraordinary life of 35 years, he produced a unique and distinctive body of work.

////////// Most of his works are now in public and private collections around the world and some are valued at nearly one billion NT dollars each on the Art market.

////////// It is indeed not an easy task to assemble his works for holding this exhibition.

• Held jointly by the KMFA and Modigliani Institut Archives Lègales Paris-Rome, this exhibition also showcases works by and important documents about some of Modigliani’s fellow artists, including M. Kisling and M. Jacob.

//////////// • This is the First exhibition especially dedicated to Modigliani ever in Taiwan and Asia, showing comprehensive works that can only be paralleled by the collections of some European museums.
