• Team di ricercatori di Creta University hanno elaborato una sorta di ASPIRINA BIOLOGICA che serve per curare varie malattie tra cui il raffreddore e l’influenza comune.

Si tratta di un preparato naturale alla base del quale vi sono 3 specie di erbe originarie dell’isola di Creta le cui essenze vengono disciolte nell’olio d’oliva.

//// Detta aspirina biologica risultato degli studi e delle sperimentazioni condotte dai professori Ilias Kastanis - Christos Lionis (entrambi medici) con il biologo Stergios Pirintsos, in collab. con Coop. Agricola di Rethimno e la società farmaceutica Galenica.

/// Nonostante il fatto che tutti gli elementi costituenti del nuovo preparato siano assolutamente NATURALI, i ricercatori tengono a sottolineare che si tratta di un medicinale e non di un integratore alimentare.

Al termine delle sperimentazioni, molto probabilmente il prossimo anno 2012, i 3 studiosi faranno richiesta all’Istituto Ellenico per i medicinali (EOF) per ottenere la licenza di commercializzazione del prodotto ad un prezzo estremamente basso che, secondo condizione posta dalla Coop. Agricola di Rethimno, non dovrà superare 1€ a confezione.

Scientists from the University of Crete have developed an organic alternative to aspirin.

Professors of medicine, Elias Castanas, Christos Lionis and a Biology professor, Stergios Pirintsos have been working together with the Agricultural Cooperative in Rethymnon and Galenica AE a pharmaceutical Manufacturing company in preparing a more healthier, organic medicine for colds and flu.

The ingredients of the medicine are being kept a closely guarded secret by the manufactures though it is thought to contain 3 Cretan herbs (that are kept secret by the manufacturers) within an olive oil base, it is also thought that one or more of the herbs can only be found on the island of Crete.

• Crete has a long history of using natural products in their health and beauty products going back to ancient times and most of these recipes have been handed down through generations.

• Crete is well known for their beautiful, rare and sometimes, indigos species of plants and this article should remind people of the importance of protecting the wild, herbs and plants of Crete.

The new cold and flu medicine is expected to be approved by the Greek Pharmaceutical Organization within the next months.
