- Crisi economica alle spalle?
Qualcuno ci crede veramente. Gli armatori italiani, ad esempio. Che hanno deciso di intitolare il MareForum del 2010 - a Roma il 10 maggio

- “Optimism in the air”. Ma, come fa capire Mariella Bottiglieri, il fascino del Forum sta un po’ anche in questo: si lancia il sasso nello stagno, ed è la platea, fatta di operatori, broker, rappresentanti del mondo della finanza, a dire «quale sia lo spessore di questo ottimismo. In effetti, si tratta di un titolo significativo - dice Bottiglieri, che è amministratore delegato della Bottiglieri Shipping Company, tra gli organizzatori del Forum -. Ma rispetto allo scorso anno, abbiamo meno elementi di incertezza. Si vede la famosa luce in fondo al tunnel. A livello macroeconomico, c’è un ritorno alla stabilità, anche se molto dipenderà dalla crescita di America ed Europa in termini di pil e occupazione.

Per quanto riguarda l’Italia, siamo contenti che finalmente sia finito il periodo elettorale...».
Ci spiega perché?
«Semplice: c’è la ripresa? Bisogna fare il possibile per favorirla: assottigliare quanto più possibile la burocrazia, rendere la bandiera italiana ancora più attrattiva. Non solo per noi ma anche per i Paesi stranieri, così che possano utilizzare la nostra bandiera sulle loro navi. Potrebbe essere un ulteriore stimolo all’economia: del resto pochi continuano a sapere che lo shipping è un notevole moltiplicatore economico».
