mercoledi 2 agosto: Catania Airport, 17 days after the air terminal fire: still inconveniences, long queues and desperate passengers


🔹Aeroporto di Catania, 17 giorni dopo incendio aerostazione: ancora disagi, lunghe code e passeggeri disperati nel mini terminal C

CATANIA airport: Zero assistance, no help, little collaboration from the few employees.
All while the temperature is hot again

🔹The little terminal one should be operational from tomorrow terminal built by the Air Force next to Terminal C.

🔹 Passengers posting on social media said flight departures were announced, in Italian only, by staff using a megaphone or simply shouting near the terminal entrance as people queued outside.
Hopefully this will improve the situation slightly.

🔹 Some airlines, including Jet2, had cancelled all flights to and from Catania until August 3rd.
