Catania airport: today's departing and arriving flights are still under 140 - compared to 260 before the fire on Sunday 16 July

🔹Aeroporto Catania: Oggi giovedi 3 agosto - sopralluogo di Presidente Regione Sicilia Schifani in Terminal A bonificato dopo incendio di domenica 16 luglio: a breve ( ? ) la riapertura.

Il sopralluogo insieme a presidente Enac Pierluigi Di Palma e alla presidente SAC Giovanna Candura e A.d. SAC Nico Torrisi, ha effettuato un sopralluogo al Terminal A.

Aeroporto di Catania, 18 giorni dopo incendio aerostazione: ancora disagi, lunghe code e passeggeri disperati nel mini terminal C ampliato attivato il nuovo piccolo Terminal aggiuntivo - maxi tendone, realizzato da Aeronautica Militare, ma i voli di oggi in partenza ed in arrivo di aeroporto di Catania sono sempre sotto 140 - contro i 260 di prima di incendio di domenica 16 luglio 2023.

🔹The little terminal one should be operational from tomorrow terminal built by the Air Force next to Terminal C.

🔹 Passengers posting on social media said flight departures were announced, in Italian only, by staff using a megaphone or simply shouting near the terminal entrance as people queued outside.
Hopefully this will improve the situation slightly.

🔹 Some airlines, including Jet2, had cancelled all flights to and from Catania until August 3rd.
