Il sindaco di Los Angeles - California - Eric Garcetti ha detto ieri MERCOLEDI 15 APRILE che i grandi raduni come eventi sportivi e concerti sono improbabili che si verifichino fino al 2021 a causa di epidemia di viruscorona, un duro colpo per una delle principali Capitali mondiali dello sport e dello spettacolo.

Garcetti ha enunciato questa prospettiva quando i il presentatore della CNN Wolf Blitzer ha chiesto di una e-mail interna alla Città, pubblicata in precedenza dal Los Angeles Times.

L'email includeva un riassunto scritto da un dipendente dei Vigili del Fuoco di Los Angeles di dichiarazioni simili fatte dal Sindaco durante una precedente riunione cittadina.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said Yesterday Wednesday that large gatherings like sporting events and concerts are unlikely to occur until 2021 due to the viruscorona epidemic, a major blow for one of the world's major sports and entertainment capitals.

Garcetti offered that perspective when asked today by CNN host Wolf Blitzer about an internal city email published earlier by the Los Angeles Times.

That email included a summary written by a Los Angeles Fire Department employee of similar statements made by the mayor during a city meeting.

🔹 CMSE announce cancellation of its 24th Annual Components for Military & Space Electronics Conference & Exhibition
that was scheduled for April 21-23, 2020
at Four Points by Sheraton (LAX) Los Angeles, California.

🔹 🔹 🔹 The conference will be postponed for the next year April 20-22, 2021.

The CMSE Program Committee made a decision yesterday to cancel CMSE 2020.

“We gave serious thought to rescheduling for later this summer or in the fall and looked into the possibility of a “virtual meeting.” But the consensus is to cancel and try again next year. We have set a date for April 20-22, 2021, same venue at LAX.” concluded the CMSE Program Committee

CMSE conferences has grown 20% in each of the last three years and became the premier independently-run conference with a focus on components for military and space markets.
