➤ The largest Nutella Ferrero factory in the world has stopped due to a lack of quality

Ferrero has decided temporarily suspend "as a precaution", the production of the first production site in the world of Nutella, in Normandy, after having identified a "lack of quality".

• - ☀️ - The Press service of Ferrero France announced it, Wednesday 20 February.

"For now, we can say that no product currently on the market is affected by the situation and that the supply of our customers continues without interruption", assures the French branch of the Italian giant of the spread.

The closure of the Villers-Ecalles plant (Seine-Maritime) will allow investigations to be carried out "the results will be known by the end of the week and will allow us to take the necessary corrective measures", specific Ferrero France.

Indagini interne dei controllori di Qualità Ferrero sono attualmente in corso (i problemi non sono legati a prodotti finiti ma ad alcuni componenti che rientrano nella produzione di Nutella e Kinder Bueno).

Stabilimento francese NUTELLA di Villers-Ecalles in Normandia produce 600mila barattoli di Nutella al giorno, 1/4 della produzione mondiale.
