Malta Opera Festival Mediterranea 29-31 Oct 2015 Giacomo Puccini's immortal La Boheme

Teatru Astra proudly announces Giacomo Puccini's immortal La Boheme as the highlight of Festival Mediterranea 2015.

This production will see La Boheme being staged at the Astra after an absence of ten years.

La Boheme will be performed on Thursday 29rd and Saturday 29th October 2015.

La Boheme is all about beautiful singing.

Puccini is well-known for his creative powers when it comes to composing endearing melodies which sets him firmly in the finest of the Italian tradition, yet sets him apart in some way.

The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will be under the direction of Prof. Joseph Vella, while the regia will once again be entrusted to Enrico Stinchelli.

Teatru Astra has once again managed to engage a star-studded cast for this production which will be announced shortly.

La Boheme will be performed on Thursday 29rd and Saturday 29th October 2015.
