Rock band formata nel 1996 in Galles UK

Stereophonics group: Kelly Jones (voce e chitarra), Richard Jones (basso) e Jamie Morrison (batteria).

La formazione ha esordito con le Rock band inglesi ad aprire i concerti (U2, Manic Street Preachers ...), e successivamente nei pub gallesi.

//// dopo aver aperto Grandi concerti di successo, la Band Stereophonics ha iniziato a far da sola piccoli concerti e proprie composizioni.

Registrano il loro 1° singolo nel 1996: Local Boy in the Photograph.

Molto rapidamente Local Boy in the Photograph raggiunge il 1° posto nelle classifiche britanniche.

Stereophonics produce quindi il 1° album di debutto
World Get around

- il disco dei 3 ragazzi riceve subito riconoscimento pubblico di vendite e vengono premiati con 1 Brit Award per la migliore promessa pop - rock del 1997.

• 1998 - registrano il loro 2° album,
Performance and Cocktails, presto seguito da Just Enough Education to Perform (2001),

• You Gotta Go there to Come Back (2003),

• Lingua. Sesso. Violenza. Altro? (2005),

• Pull the Pin (2007), - 2009 il 7° album Keep Calm and Carry on (Mantieni la calma e vai avanti)
