Durante Rimini Fiera Turismo si è svolta l’Assemblea mondiale Uftaa che ha rinnovato i Vertici.
• Mario Bevacqua eletto Presidente Uftaa (Federazione Mondiale Associazioni Agenzie Viaggi) che rappresenta oltre 70.000 punti vendita di Agenzie di Viaggi nei 5 continenti, associa 80 Federazioni Nazionali, riuniti in assemblea straordinaria a TTG Incontri a Rimini.

Mario Bevacqua, titolare della Trimondo Viaggi di Catania e consigliere d’onore Fiavet, è il primo italiano a ricoprire la carica nella Federazione, costituita a Roma nel 1966.

• Rajinder Rai (India) eletto nuovo Direttore.

I 60 delegati hanno istituito il nuovo Strategic Committe, formato da 5 componenti con la responsabilità diretta di stilare il - Business Plan - per lo sviluppo delle Attività dell’Uftaa in tutto il mondo.

The mandate is for 2 years

During the UFTAA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING held in Rimini, Italy, 22/25 October, 2010 , Rajinder Rai, was elected Director of the Federation. Rai is also President of the Travel Agents’ Association of India (TAAI) the largest and oldest association of travel agents of India. The mandate is for 2 years

For the first time since its foundation, 44 years ago, UFTAA - the United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations representing over 70,000 travel agents all over the world, held its AGM in Italy.

- I am happy and honored with this development and look forward to a fruitful & interactive year in UFTAA - said Rai from Rimini.
