Final flights to and from Qatar departing morning of Tuesday June 6

Abu Dhabi-based airline Etihad has confirmed it has immediately suspended all flights to Qatari capital Doha.

The last flight from Abu Dhabi to Doha will depart from 2.45am GST on Tuesday June 6, with the final flight returning from Doha to the UAE capital taking off at 4am local time on the same day.

All customers who are booked on Etihad Airways flights to and from Doha are being provided with alternative options, including full refunds on unused tickets and free rebooking to the nearest alternate Etihad Airways destinations - said an Etihad spokesperson.

• Etihad Airways regrets any inconvenience caused as a result of the suspension.

• All flights on Monday June 5 will operate as normal.
