Catania capitale - Summer School of Neuroscience giunta alla IX edizione, si svolge fino a Venerdi 15 luglio 2011 con la partecipazione di illustri specialisti del panorama internazionale e con il titolo Pain(il dolore)org dal prof. Filippo Drago, ordinario di farmacologia Catania University.

L'iniziativa nell'aula del Coro di notte ex Monastero dei Benedettini Catania

Negli ultimi anni il trattamento del dolore, nelle sue varie rappresentazioni cliniche, ha assunto sempre maggiore importanza sia a livello sanitario che a livello sociale.

Lo sviluppo recente delle Neuroscienze negli ultimi anni ha inoltre progressivamente contribuito a chiarire le basi Neuro Biologiche del dolore acuto e cronico e Nuovi Target farmacologici sono oggi disponibili per il trattamento del dolore.

A tal fine i maggiori esperti nel campo, a livello nazionale e internazionale, relazionano e discutono per migliorare il trattamento a lungo termine di questa patologia.
