• Negli ultimi 5 anni i Paesi del Consiglio di Cooperazione del Golfo Persico hanno assorbito tra il 30% e il 40% della produzione dell’industria petrolchimica mondiale.

A conferma dell’interesse verso il settore, il grande numero di partecipanti all’evento.

• Arabplast 2011 si svolge al Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, su una superficie superiore del 25% rispetto a quella occupata dall’edizione precedente.

Tra i Paesi arabi, l’Oman è uno di quelli che guarda con più attenzione all’iniziativa.
Mascate punta alla crescita del 60% del settore petrolchimico entro il 2012, passando dall’attuale produzione di 3,5 milioni di tonn di materiali plastici a quota 8,5milioni di tonnellate.

• Advanced Polymer Trading Heading to ArabPlast 2011, the 10th Arab International Plastics and Rubber Trade Show petrochemicals

• The ArabPlast 2011 will be held from January 8 - 11, 2011 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai. The official sponsors of the event include Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO), Borouge, Abu Dhabi Polymers Park, Petro Rabigh and NATPET.

• The 2011 edition of the event is actively supported by the All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) and Indian government bodies,, The Plastics Export Promotion Council (Plexconcil) and EEPC India.

• ArabPlast 2011 is being jointly organized by Al Fajer Information and Services, Dubai, a leading organizer of fairs and exhibitions in the Middle East, and German exhibition organizer Messe Dusseldorf, Germany.

• The ArabPlast Summit, to be run concurrently with the exhibition, will discuss key challenges facing the growth of the raw plastics and petrochemicals in the GCC region. The All India Plastics Manufactures Association is organizing a conference titled ‘India – Global Hub of Plastics’, which will focus on the emerging opportunities in the country in the plastics sector.

• The ArabPlast 2011 will witness record participation.
• Over 800 firms from across the world will occupy over 45,000 square metre of space in the four-day show. About 600 companies participated in the 2009 edition of the event.
