- Titanic Belfast Experience: nuovo centro visitatori, aperto oggi 1 Apr 2012 in grado di soddisfare ogni curiositΰ avvolto da scintillante alluminio, struttura ideata per ricordare gli scafi di 4 navi e all'interno installazioni multimediali, percorsi alla scoperta degi interni della nave ed sperienze interattive all'interno della ricostruzione di una cantiere navale.

Nata a Belfast costruita a Belfast e concepita da Belfast c'θ solo un posto in cui la nave delle navi, il Titanic, poteva realmente festeggiare il suo 100° Anniversary

• 11 apr 2012 MTV in Belfast Port Titanic dedicated

• per commemorare la notte del tragico incidente, la sera Sa 14 aprile 2012 - Virtual Choir canta in una spettacolare performance audiovisiva condotta dal pluripremiato compositore, e vincitore di Grammy - Eric Whitacre.

• 14 apr 2012 - Southampton Concert Orchestra (la piω antica orchestra sinfonica affermata di Southampton) sta collaborando con Contemporary Music for All per eseguire un concerto di musica classica e contemporanea.
La 'New World Symphony' (Sinfonia del Nuovo Mondo) di Dvorak, composta in Usa nel 1890, non molto tempo prima che il Titanic salpasse, rappresenta le speranze e le aspirazioni di molti di quei passeggeri che partirono verso il nuovo mondo, con i suoi sentori di melodie native americane e spiritual africani, per non parlare della sua sontuosa orchestrazione - realizzato da un'orchestra migliorata ed ampliata.
' Titanic ' di Gavin Bryars, composto originariamente nel 1969 come omaggio a tutti coloro che hanno servito a bordo della nave, θ stato ampliato e adattato dal compositore per ricreare le immagini ed i suoni degli ultimi istanti del viaggio: i musicisti che continuarono a suonare (cosμ narra la leggenda) man mano che le onde s’infrangevano sulla nave, e in questo brano evocativo si possono immaginare i suoni che continuano a propagarsi nell'acqua fino agli ultimi momenti di riposo.

Titanic-Belfast - The Titanic Experience is housed in an iconic, 6-floor building, this state-of-the-art visitor experience tells the story of the Titanic.
The visitor begins in turn of the century Belfast, to learn why Belfast was once the third largest in the Empire, was so industrialised.

Although the ship is known for striking an iceberg and sinking with a significant loss of life, it is also symbolic of the rich industrial heritage of Belfast at the turn of the twentieth century and provides a fascinating story for every generation of people throughout the world.

For these reasons Titanic has become a key signature project for Belfast, via “Titanic Belfast” and is also the name given to Europe’s largest waterfront regeneration scheme – Titanic Quarter.
