2011 Conference Tema practice e policy nel settore portuale quadro della Politica Europea per i Porti.
ESPO ha evidenziato che la performance portuale θ un concetto formato da molti aspetti e puς riguardare le Operazioni Portuali, Logistica, tendenze e struttura dei Mercati, Ambiente e integrazione sociale, impatto socio-economico e Governance.
L'Associazione ricorda di essere coord. del progetto PPrism (Port PerfoRmance Indicators - Selection and Measurement), cofinanziato da Unione Europea.
Alla conferenza di Limassol i partner del progetto presentano lo stato di avanzamento di PPrism e illustrano lo Sviluppo del Sistema Europeo di valutazione delle Performance Portuali.
2° argomento della conferenza θ frutto della decisione della Commissione Europea di prendere in esame nel corso del 2011 il quadro della Politica per i Porti. Tale revisione riguarda lo sviluppo e il finanziamento delle infrastrutture, le concessioni, l'accesso al mercato dei servizi portuali, la modernizzazione, il Lavoro Portuale ed altri temi.
