HISTORY - ➤ ☀️ • 1980 dopo un Tour Europeo ed apparizione a - Top of the pops - registrano il celeberrimo ACE OF SPADES.

In seguito ad un incidente occorso a Taylor, i Motörhead suonano con le Girlschool, con le quali producono nel 1981 THE SAINT VALENTINE DAY MASSACRE EP.
I 2 gruppi si esibiscono al TOP of the POPS accodandosi poi ad Ozzy Osbourne per il tour di BLIZZARD OF OZZ.
- ➤ ☀️ Album live NO SLEEP TIL HAMMERSMITH raggiunge il N.1 nelle charts USA lo stesso anno.
- ➤ ☀️ • 1982 esce IRON FIST ed Eddie Clarke decide di lasciare la band. A sostituirlo un ex-Thin Lizzy: Brian “Robbo” Robertson.
- ➤ ☀️ ANOTHER PERFECT DAY unico album con Robertson, dimissionario anch’egli l’anno seguente.
- ➤ ☀️ • 1984 anche Taylor abbandona i Motörhead ed in aiuto arrivano 2 chitarristi Phil Cambell e Wurzel, mentre alla batteria siede l’ex-Saxon Pete Gill.
- ➤ ☀️ • 1986 con la Gwr e Bill Laswell esce il grande ORGASMATRON. Nello stesso anno Lemmy & C. partecipano al Monster Of Rock di Donnigton.
- ➤ ☀️ • 1987 - ritorna Phil Taylor per registrare ROCK N’ ROLL, mentre Lemmy appare nel film “Eat the rich”, di cui scrive anche la colonna sonora.
- ➤ ☀️ 1988 NO SLEEP AT ALL esce lo stesso anno in cui Lemmy collabora con Alice Cooper e Lita Ford.
- ➤ ☀️ • 1991 Wtg Sony pubblica album 1916.
1992 Taylor è di nuovo fuori: arriva Mikky Dee in tempo per registrare MARCH OR DIE.
- ➤ ☀️ 1993 BASTARDS per ZYX indipendent Label
1994 dopo tour con Black Sabbath e Ramones, esce SACRIFICE
- ➤ ☀️ 1995 si festeggia il 20° Anniversario dei Motörhead, improvvisa partenza di Wurzel che rende la band di nuovo un trio come in origine.
- ➤ ☀️ 2000 esce per i 25 anni WE ARE MOTÖRHEAD su Spv - Steamhammer, seguito da HAMMERED (2002) e Inferno (2004)
- ➤ ☀️2005 la Sanctuary ripubblica in versione doppia alcuni dischi del catalogo della band, mentre nel 2006 esce KISS OF DEATH.
- ➤ ☀️ 2009 Esce il nuovo lavoro del gruppo intitolato MOTORIZER.
- ➤ ☀️ 2013 - 21 Oct: Aftershock - 21° disco!
