Silence Sounds and Spaces is about creating a painting in notes and sounds through a transparent and simple score. My music is becoming more of a soundtrack... the concert is not about fast rhythms, but about building music that people will enjoy listening to, where the melodic aspect comes to the forefront. The CD is a tapestry of sounds overlaying each other, weaving ideas together." Renzo Spiteri, 2011.

Silence Sounds and Spaces is being offered at a pre-release price of EUR12, exclusively from Renzo's website - visit THE STORE.

The album will be launched during live performances which will also feature original visuals influenced by the music that Renzo will be performing on the night, created by Nick Critien from Creative Design and Winston De Giorgio from AV Widgets Ltd.

Silence Sounds and Spaces is Renzo Spiteri's new concept album that defines his creative journey across a selection of the most prominent archaeological sites spread across The Maltese Islands, encompassing music inspired by these stunning sites and exploiting some of their unique sonic timbre.

This project is the follow-up to the scoring of the music to the visitors' audio guide of the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) for which Renzo was commissioned by Heritage Malta (the national agency for museums, conservation practice and cultural heritage) in 2007.
