RADU suona regolarmente con le più importanti orchestre internazionali, inclusi i Berliner Philharmoniker, con cui, nel 1978, fa il suo debutto al Festival di Salisburgo, sotto la direzione di Herber von Karajan, e poi con i Filarmonici di Vienna, con cui inaugura il Festival di Salisburgo 1986 sotto la direzione di Riccardo Muti, la Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, le maggiori orchestre londinesi e tutte le grandi orchestre americane.

Radu Lupu 🔹 nato in Romania (1945), ha iniziato gli studi di pianoforte all’età di 6 anni, con Lia Busuioceanu, debuttando in pubblico a soli 12 anni con un programma completo di musiche da lui stesso composte.

- per diversi anni continuò gli studi con Florica Muzicescu e Cella Delavranca finché, nel 1961, vinse una borsa di studio per il Conservatorio di Mosca, dove studiò con Galina Eghyazarova, Heinrich Neuhaus e, più tardi, con Stanisalv Neuhaus.

🔹 nel 2006 Radu Lupu ha ricevuto il Premio Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli e, per la 2a volta, il Premio Abbiati, per le sue interpretazioni di Schumann . . .
