Carnival brings along with it visions of colour, festivities and exuberance.

////////// To celebrate this event with style, the first concert to be held at the magnificent Palazzo De Piro at Mdina, is going to be “A Baroque Carnival”.

As grand as the baroque period, this concert is set to be a colourful and exuberant performance.

The performance is going to feature an unusual instrumental formation of 2 flutes and 1 cello.

/////// The newly-opened Palazzo de Piro Cultural Centre will be hosting a series of recitals of excellent quality which will be org. by Barocco Cultural Events.

/////// The restored Nobleman’s house which has been opened as a cultural centre is the venue for major exhibitions and premier national artistic and heritage events and exhibitions.

//// The recitals planned for the forthcoming months blend thoroughly with the elegant and beautiful ambience of the Palazzo which exudes the wonderful sense of history and the roots of the nation.

in coooperation with Gukulari Ensemble, they have also recorded CDs of 18th and 19th century music.
Several Maltese composers have dedicated works to the duo.

Their extensive repertoire ranges from the baroque to the contemporary.
