Alla luce delle ingenti perdite avute nel 2009 nel trasporto all cargo Air France prevede di smantellare totalmente la sua flotta cargo.

Air France-KLM ha perso 660 milioni € nel settore cargo.


Air France e KLM faranno trasporto merci solo nella stiva degli aerei passeggeri.

Dal 2006, la percentuale di carico nel trasporto merci, Air France si è ridotto notevolmente.

Il numero di voli cargo Air France-KLM è stato ridotto negli ultimi 2 anni attraverso la vendita e affitto di oltre il 50 per cento.
