Libyan Wings is a fully privately-funded airline backed by Libyan businessmen.

Presentata al Dubai Air Show dello scorso novembre - la Nuova compagnia aerea fondata nei mesi scorsi in Libia.

Libyan Wings, ha scelto di VOLARE con aerei Airbus A350 XWB e A320 per iniziare le proprie operazioni ad inizio 2014.

Nei primi mesi 2014 consegnati i primi 2 airbus A320neo mentre è stato sottoscritto memorandum di intesa per avere
3 airbus A350-900 della famiglia A350XWB seguiti da . altri 4 airbus A320neo con nuovi motori.

Libyan Wings - società privata - fondata e finanziata da giovani uomini d’affari libici (Wisam Al Masri Chairman of Libyan Wings).

- La compagnia aerea ha base a Tripoli e debutta inizialmente con rotte regionali (Tunisia, Egitto e Marocco) con ambizioni di espandersi verso il Nord Europa.

Libyan Wings 2014

Initially operate short-haul flights serving Tripoli, Benghazi, Miserata and Tubruk within Libya, together with the neighboring nations of Tunisia and Egypt, where it plans to operate to Cairo and Alexandria, plus Casablanca in Morocco and Istanbul in Turkey.

The carrier is also studying long-haul routes to be served by the A350s Airbus.

Flights to Libya should be enhanced from 2018 with the completion of a new airport capable of handling about 20 million passengers a year.
